伦敦标志性的哈罗德百货（Harrods）将在上海开设私人会员俱乐部，以满足中国高净值人群的需求。
据彭博社星期二（7月18日）报道，新俱乐部名为“The Residence”，将于今年年底开业，位于上海市中心的历史建筑查公馆二层。
俱乐部会费从15万元人民币（2万7646新元）起步，会员起初限定在250人。
俱乐部将和苏格兰高端威士忌公司Edrington Group合作，为会员提供珍品美酒。俱乐部还将提供各种礼宾服务。
查公馆目前已设有哈罗德茶室和酒吧，面向公众开放。英国名厨戈登·兰斯利（Gordon Ramsay）也将把自己在上海的第一家餐厅设在这个俱乐部内。
哈罗德百货创立于1834年，是目前全球最大的奢侈品百货之一。哈罗德百货于2020年进驻中国，在上海开设首店。
在本次开设永久会员俱乐部之前，哈罗德百货曾于2019年在上海和成都开设“The Residence”限时快闪俱乐部。
哈罗德百货董事总经理沃德（Michael Ward）2017年曾说，“顾客在哈罗德店内每消费5英镑（约8.65新元），就有1英镑来自中国游客。”
