Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that the war between the United States and Israel against Iran "is not over yet" because Iran still has nuclear materials that need to be removed.
Bloomberg reported that during an interview with CBS's "60 Minutes" program, Netanyahu was asked about Iran's highly enriched uranium. He said, "We must go in and remove these things."
Netanyahu said, "There is still (highly enriched uranium) there. We still have unfinished business."
When asked whether US or Israeli special forces would enter Iran to remove nuclear materials, Netanyahu refused to provide further details. He merely said that US President Trump had expressed the desire to enter Iran.
Netanyahu told CBS: "I think sending ground troops is feasible. It's not a problem. This is an extremely important mission."
He said that the best solution would be to reach a nuclear materials agreement with Iran.
On Sunday (May 10th), Iran officially submitted its response to the latest proposal from the US aimed at ending the war to the Pakistani mediators. However, Trump said Iran's latest response was "completely unacceptable".
