Xinhua News Agency reported that Russian President's press secretary Peskov said on Wednesday (May 13th) that Russia and the United States have a series of promising mutually beneficial cooperation projects in the economic and investment fields. When the US stops linking the normalization of bilateral economic and trade relations with the Ukraine issue, or when the Ukraine issue is resolved, Russia hopes that these projects can be implemented.

When answering a reporter's question about the ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, Peskov said that Ukrainian President Zelensky must order the Ukrainian armed forces to cease fire and withdraw from the Donbas region. Only then will the ceasefire agreement come into effect and all parties can calmly start negotiations.

Peskov said that Russia will continue to have dialogues with the US through the existing channels. Russia is exchanging information with Ukraine through the US.
