The New York Times of the United States quoted an unnamed US official on Monday (January 26th) as saying that if the White House orders a strike against Iran, theoretically, the US Navy's "Abraham Lincoln" aircraft carrier strike group that has already arrived in the Middle East could launch military operations "within one or two days".
