Rubio: The Israeli military's strike operation in Gaza does not violate the ceasefire agreement

Us Secretary of State Rubio said that the US side believes that Israel's recent air strikes against members of the Palestinian armed group in Gaza do not violate the ceasefire agreement.

The Israeli army's strike operation was located in the central Gaza town of Nusserat.

At that time, Rubio had just concluded his visit to Israel not long ago. He said that after the United States, Egypt and Qatar brokered a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, Israel did not give up its right of self-defense. All mediators agree that if Israel faces an imminent threat, it has the right to take action.

He also emphasized that the ceasefire agreement is based on the obligations of both Israel and Hamas, and reaffirmed that Hamas must accelerate the transfer of the remains of the distressed hostages.
