On Tuesday (January 27th), Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed spoke on the phone with Iranian President Pegah Shirazi. He said that Saudi Arabia would not allow any party to use its territory to attack Iran. Shirazi said that the threats from the United States against Iran were undermining regional security and would only lead to instability.

Peshchizhiyan introduced the current situation in Iran, expounded on the relevant efforts of the Iranian government, and reported on the latest progress of the nuclear issue negotiations.

Earlier on the same day, Iranian media reported that Peshchizijan told Crown Prince Mohammed that Tehran welcomes any process aimed at preventing war within the framework of international law.

Crown Prince Mohammed said that Saudi Arabia has always respected Iran's sovereignty and will not allow any party to use its airspace or territory to launch military operations or carry out any form of attack against Iran, regardless of the target. Saudi Arabia supports all efforts to resolve differences through dialogue in order to promote regional security and stability.

Pezhichizhan expressed his gratitude for Saudi Arabia's stance and commended Crown Prince Mohammed for his efforts in promoting regional security and stability.

The Iranian presidential office issued a statement saying that Peshchizhizhan and Crown Prince Mohammad had communicated about the latest international and regional situations as well as the current situation in Iran. Peshchizhizhan said that since he took office in 2024, the United States and Israel have pressured Iran's economy, launched wars, etc., intensifying hostile actions. Recently, they directly intervened, incited, supported, and funded riots and violent activities, resulting in the deaths of a large number of Iranian people and security personnel, and the destruction of a large amount of public property and facilities.

Pezhesizyan pointed out that the United States, through these actions, intended to turn Iran into a country like Syria or Libya, but failed to correctly understand the essence and tremendous power of the Iranian nation.

Pezhizhijian emphasized that Iran has always and will continue to welcome any process that contributes to achieving peace, stability, and the prevention of conflicts and wars, within the framework of international law and while fully safeguarding the rights of the country and its people.

US President Trump said in an speech in Iowa on the 27th that another "fleet" of the US is heading towards Iran. He hopes that Tehran can reach an agreement with Washington.

The US Central Command posted on X on the 26th stating that the US Navy's Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier strike group has now been deployed in the Middle East, aiming to promote regional security and stability.
