The White House said that President Trump remains committed to completely ending North Korea's nuclear weapons program and is open to dialogue with North Korean leader Kim Jong UN.

Kim Yo Jong, who is believed to be able to speak on behalf of Kim Jong UN, is the vice minister of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Kim Yo Jong said that since Kim Jong UN held three talks with Trump during his first term, the capabilities of North Korea as a nuclear-armed state and the geopolitical environment have undergone fundamental changes.

She said, "Any attempt to deny North Korea's status as a nuclear state..." All will be completely rejected."

Reuters reported that a White House official, when asked about Kim Yo Jong's statement, said that Trump remains committed to the goal he set for holding three summits with Kim Jong UN during his first term.

The White House official said, "The president remains committed to these goals and is willing to engage with Kim Jong UN to achieve the complete denuclearization of North Korea."
