The US military attacked a suspected drug trafficking ship in the eastern Pacific, killing two people

U.S. War Secretary Hegseth said that the U.S. military carried out a strike on a suspected drug trafficking ship in international waters of the eastern Pacific, killing two men.

Reuters reported that Hegseth posted on X platform on Tuesday (November 4) saying: "Intelligence confirms that this ship is involved in drug smuggling activities and is traveling along a known drug trafficking route with drugs on board."

Hegseth also uploaded an 18-second video in his post, which showed a ship being attacked and exploding in the water.
