Egypt resumed the delivery of humanitarian aid trucks to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip.
According to Egyptian state television, the first 95 aid trucks have crossed the Egyptian side of the border to Gaza since the cease-fire between Israel and Hamas came into effect Sunday, and about 500 more trucks are expected to enter Gaza on Sunday.
Separately, Reuters quoted two Egyptian security sources as saying 200 aid trucks, including 20 carrying fuel, had arrived at the Kerem Shalom crossing.
Israeli Foreign Minister Isaac Saar warned Sunday that Israel is committed to achieving its goals in the Gaza war, including the return of hostages and the dismantling of Hamas's government and military capabilities.
Sall said the Middle East will remain unstable if Hamas remains in power in Gaza.
He added that if the international community wants a permanent ceasefire, Hamas must be dismantled as the military power and ruling power in Gaza. "In theory we can do this through an agreement, but that will be negotiated in the first phase."
