一项调查发现，在全球员工的身体、心理、社会和精神健康状况排名中，日本员工排名垫底。
彭博社报道，麦肯锡健康促进研究院（McKinsey Health Institute）星期四（11月2日）公布了对30个国家逾3万名员工进行的调查结果，日本员工得分最低，仅25%；土耳其最高，为78%，印度和中国以76%和75%排名第二和第三。全球员工平均水平为57%。
尽管日本企业在提供终身雇佣和工作保障方面享有盛誉，但这也意味着，员工如果不满意工作将很难换工作。
为日本企业提供跨文化沟通和商业实践咨询的企业管理咨询公司Rochelle Kopp说，日本的企业文化在国际调查中获得的评分一直偏低，而调查结果也反映了这点。
Rochelle Kopp说，现在有越来越多日本企业仅为员工提供短期合约，增加了员工对于未来的不确定性。
根据麦肯锡健康促进研究院的调查，拥有积极工作体验的员工整体身心健康更好，在工作中更具创新性，工作表现也更高。
调查报告说，“对于大多数成年人来说，日常生活里的大部分时间都是在工作中度过的，因此雇主对员工的身体、心理、社交和精神健康的影响不容小觑”。
