The Lebanese Ministry of Health states that Israeli attacks during the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah have resulted in the deaths of 850 people in Lebanon.
According to Agence France-Presse (AFP), the Lebanese Health Ministry issued a statement on Sunday (March 15) reporting that the casualties include 66 women, 107 children, and 32 medical personnel, while another 2,105 people have been injured.
Since the onset of the conflict between the United States and Iran, the Israeli military has continuously launched attacks against Hezbollah forces entrenched in southern Lebanon.
Xinhua News Agency reports that Israeli Foreign Minister Saar stated on Sunday that Israel has no plans to hold direct talks with the Lebanese government in the coming days.
Saar remarked that the Israeli side "expects the Lebanese government to take concrete measures to prevent Hezbollah from opening fire on Israel."
He added that Israel and the United States share a common resolve to "continue fighting against Iran until our objectives are achieved." He also noted that Israel is "not short" on air defense interceptor missiles.
