伊朗正在加速推进核计划，联合国国际原子能机构（IAEA）说，伊朗已将近武器级铀的产量提高两倍，恢复了今年上半年的生产速度。
法新社报道，IAEA星期二（12月26日）说，伊朗已增加高浓缩铀的产量。
伊朗从6月起将60%浓缩铀的产量减少为每月生产3公斤左右。但自11月底至今，伊朗将产量增加到每月约9公斤，与今年上半年的每月产量持平。
IAEA在声明中说：“12月19日至24日，IAEA视察员核实了伊朗两座浓缩铀生产设施，包括纳坦兹燃料浓缩试验厂和福尔多燃料浓缩厂的浓缩铀生产水平。”
制造核武器需要丰度达90%的浓缩铀，3.67%的浓缩铀就能够确保核电站正常运作。
伊朗否认正在研制核武器。
