Israel: What is the odds of winning in a back-to-back battle?

image

On April 5th local time, according to media reports such as The Israel Times and The Jerusalem Post, Israel temporarily closed 28 embassies abroad on the 5th. This is Israel's strongest defensive response since its attack on the Iranian Embassy in Syria on the 1st of this month.

On April 1st local time, the consulate building of the Iranian Embassy in Syria was attacked by Israeli missiles. The massive explosion and shockwave have caused at least 13 deaths, and the senior commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard's Al Quds Brigade has died.

Iran and Syria have designated the attack as initiated by Israel. Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and President Said Ibrahim Lehi have vowed retaliation. Iran's Ambassador to Syria, Hussein Akbari, has warned, "Israel will bear the consequences of its actions, and we will respond with the same intensity."

Iran seems to be really coming. The reason for this is simple: Iran's repeated forbearance has not resulted in the opponent stopping their actions, but has instead intensified. From Sulaimani to Zahedi, Israel is steadily and ruthlessly clearing out the elites in the Iranian holy city brigade. Israel's courage is increasing, and if this continues, it is highly likely that Israel's next attack will be on the Iranian mainland.

On the 5th local time, Iran held a holy city day tour to support the Palestinian people and hold funerals for seven Iranian military personnel who died in Israeli airstrikes.

In this situation, Israel's stance is "not afraid of all opponents". But in reality, Israel has started preparing for war because Iran has entered a high state of alert: just after the attack, Israel has evacuated personnel from seven embassies in the Middle East to prevent retaliation from Iran.

The Israeli Defense Forces issued a statement on the 4th, stating that based on an assessment of the current situation, it has been decided that all combat personnel will be temporarily suspended from vacation. On the same day, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu warned that if Iran takes retaliatory action against Israel, it will bear the consequences.

After the attack, Iran summoned Swiss embassy officials representing the interests of the United States in Iran, explaining the scale of the terrorist attack, elaborating on Israel's crimes, and emphasizing the responsibility of the US government: "As a supporter of the Israeli regime, the US must take responsibility for this attack.". The United States has repeatedly emphasized that it was not involved in this attack and was not aware of it beforehand.

On the 5th, Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Commander in Chief Salami stated that Israel's current survival depends on the support of the United States, which has been widely hated by the world and "no threat will go unanswered." Israel's collapse is highly likely and will soon come.

It has been proven that attacks from around Israel have occurred frequently before Iran can take action.

Hezbollah in northern Israel launched multiple missiles to bomb the northern city of Hariya. Except for two intercepted by Israeli air defense systems, all others hit and multiple Israeli positions were overturned.

Militia groups in Iraq launched multiple drones to attack Haifa International Airport, resulting in an explosion of the airport's power facilities and an attack on the naval base at the southern port of Eilat.

Hamas and Jahad in Gaza launched a dense rocket attack on the Israeli occupied area of Kisuffim, hitting the Israeli Joint Operations Command and causing multiple Israeli soldiers to be injured.

The Yemeni Housai armed forces carried out consecutive bombings on commercial ships, warships, and other targets in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

Many unjust deeds will lead to self destruction. Currently, in the face of Israel's violations of international law and conventions, the United States dare not express clear and large-scale support for Israel's actions as it has done in the past. Especially after the United States enters the election year, blindly supporting Israel may also lose the support of voters. Therefore, how Israel responds to a series of retaliatory attacks and public condemnation depends on whether Netanyahu has enough wisdom.
