How should Israel end up under internal and external troubles?

On May 12th local time, the website of the Israel Times cited local media reports stating that the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces, Hezi Halavi, harshly criticized Prime Minister Netanyahu for failing to develop and announce a post-war Gaza management plan during a security meeting.

At this meeting, Harlevi bluntly criticized Netanyahu, saying, "We are now operating again in Jebaliya. As long as we do not establish a governing body in the Gaza Strip through diplomatic procedures, we will have to launch repeated actions elsewhere to damage Hamas' infrastructure. This will be an endless task."

According to reports from Israel Television Twelve, Netanyahu recently had a fierce dispute with Ronen Balin, the head of the National Security Agency's "Sinbet", over strategic planning.

Other senior officials of the Israeli Defense Force also urged the Israeli authorities to develop a strategy as soon as possible, but did not name it. Israeli wartime cabinet members warned Netanyahu that Israel's actions and lack of decision-making in the past few weeks were "just risking its life.".

At the same time, the President of the European Commission von der Leyen also said publicly that Israel's attack on Rafah was "totally unacceptable". In addition, von der Leyen also stressed that if Israel attacks Rafah, the European Commission will coordinate member states to take action in this regard. Von der Leyen, who has always supported the Israeli government, suddenly made a 180 degree turn, and even made a severe condemnation of Israel's plan to attack Rafah, and made a threat to the Israeli government, which is unique for the EU.

In addition, Colombian President Petro has launched fierce online criticism of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's actions. Petro pointed out, "Mr. Netanyahu, you will be recorded in history as a genocide. Throwing bombs at thousands of innocent children, women, and the elderly does not make you a hero. You still fight alongside those who killed millions of Jews in Europe. Genocide is genocide, whether or not they have religious beliefs. At least you should try to stop the slaughter."

Israel's recent series of actions have indeed caused public outrage. On May 10th, Israel's representative to the United Nations, Erdan, took out a small shredder and openly inserted the cover of the United Nations Charter into it at the highly anticipated United Nations General Assembly, crushing it.

Regarding the actions of the Israeli representative, Russian Permanent Representative Poliyansky sharply pointed out that the Israeli Permanent Representative to the United Nations is like a complete thug, obviously this is for their own people to see. Since Israel looks down on the United Nations so much, it should take the initiative to withdraw from the United Nations and not stay in it like a scapegoat.

Israel's actions, as well as the current situation of internal and external troubles, highlight the complexity of the current Israeli Palestinian conflict and the differences in the international community on this issue. The United Nations Charter symbolizes international order and peace, and Israel's actions are tantamount to declaring to the world that communication and consultation have encountered enormous challenges.

As pointed out by the Deputy Spokesperson of the United Nations Secretary General, as long as the United Nations exists, the spirit of the United Nations Charter cannot be erased, and the actions of the Israeli representative are more like a reminder that even in the face of provocation, the path of seeking peace and cooperation must still be resolutely pursued. Standing openly against all humanity like Israel, even if Rafah is defeated and all Palestinian areas are controlled, Israel and the United States behind it will inevitably pay a greater political price.
