Iranian Speaker: The Iranian people and the armed forces are well-prepared for all kinds of situations

On Thursday (April 9th), the Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Parliament, Kharibaf, delivered a speech on the 40th anniversary of the death of the former Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei. He said that despite continuous pressure from external forces, Iran's defense forces and social operations remain stable, the people's cohesion remains high, and if the United States fulfills its commitments, Iran and the United States may start negotiations; otherwise, Iran will consider resuming actions. The Iranian people and the armed forces have been prepared for all kinds of situations.

Xinhua News Agency reported that Karibaf said that Iran insists on combining military and diplomatic means and is confident of achieving the ultimate victory in the war. The US acceptance of the negotiation principles proposed by Iran is a phased achievement by the Iranian side.

Meanwhile, Kalibaf emphasized that Iran has achieved significant results in its defense and regional strategies, stating that Iran has achieved defense independence in developing missile and drone capabilities by relying on the youth and local technology. Iranian missiles and drones have broken through advanced defense systems at extremely low costs and have transformed the potential influence of the Strait of Hormuz into an important deterrent against the US economy, effectively enhancing the country's independent defense capabilities.

On the evening of the 9th, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei delivered a written speech on issues such as the 40-day anniversary of his father's martyrdom and the current war situation, presenting three propositions: The aggressor must compensate for the losses, the management of the Strait of Hormuz will enter a new stage, Iran will never give up its legitimate rights, and it will regard all "resistance fronts" in the region as a whole.
