The US military said that since launching air strikes in Syria earlier this month, the United States and its Allies have killed or captured nearly 25 ISIS militants.

Reuters reported that the US Central Command issued a statement on Tuesday (December 30) saying: "During the 11 operations carried out from December 20 to 29, the US Central Command and its Allies in Syria killed at least seven members of the Islamic State and captured the rest."

The statement also pointed out that these actions also destroyed four arsenals of the Islamic State.

On December 19th, in retaliation for the attacks by the "Islamic State" on American personnel, the United States launched large-scale air strikes against dozens of "Islamic State" targets in Syria.

On the other hand, Turkish Interior Minister Yerlica said Tuesday that Turkish security forces had arrested 357 people in a nationwide operation against the "Islamic State". The police launched operations simultaneously in 21 provinces, arresting 357 suspects associated with ISIS. We will never give any chance to those who attempt to subdue Turkey through terrorism.

On Monday (the 29th), three police officers were killed in an operation against ISIS in the northwestern Turkish city of Yalova.

The conflict, which lasted for several hours, also claimed the lives of six ISIS members, all of whom were Turkish citizens.

Last week, Istanbul prosecutors ordered the arrest of 137 suspected ISIS members. "Previously, intelligence indicated that the ISIS terrorist organization was planning to launch attacks during Christmas and New Year."

Turkey shares a border with Syria, which is 900 kilometers long. However, ISIS remains highly active in Syria.
