A poll in South Korea shows 52 percent of people support the Constitutional Court's decision to impeach President Yoon Seok-yuol, while 45.1 percent want the impeachment dismissed.
According to Yonhap News agency, the latest poll released by Realmeter on Monday (February 24) shows that more than half of the respondents support the impeachment of Yun Seok-yue.
When asked about the impeachment trial by the Constitutional Court, 50.7 percent of the respondents said it was fair, 45 percent said it was unfair, and 4.3 percent said they did not know.
The poll was conducted by Realmeter and commissioned by online media Energy Business News on February 20 and 21, covering 1,006 respondents over the age of 18 nationwide.
Yin Xiyue was suspended after martial law was declared in December 2024 and is currently facing impeachment and trial for allegedly starting civil unrest.
