Indonesia and India on Saturday signed a series of agreements covering the areas of culture, health, maritime, security and digital.
According to Reuters, Indonesian President Subianto Prabowo and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi witnessed the signing ceremony.
Prabowo said the Indonesian government will speed up economic partnership with India and sees long-term cooperation as a priority.
"We discussed many key areas of common interest where we want to increase the level of cooperation," Prabowo told a press conference after the signing ceremony.
Prabowo also thanked India for its support in Indonesia's BRICS membership process, saying that the emerging market economic bloc "will benefit global stability and regional cooperation."
Modi said the two countries would cooperate on defense manufacturing and improving supply chains.
"We have also decided to cooperate on issues such as maritime security, cyber security, counter-terrorism and deradicalization."
Prabowo is on a state visit to India from January 23 to 26 and attended India's 76th Republic Day celebrations as the guest of honour.
