Reuters reported that the Indian Air Force said on Sunday (May 11) that "the losses were part of the fighting", but no details were disclosed.

When answering the question of whether losses were suffered, the Indian Air Force added that all pilots had returned home after the battle with Pakistan this week.

A spokesperson for the Pakistani military told Reuters on Wednesday (the 7th) that five Indian aircraft were shot down, but the Indian side has not confirmed this claim yet.

Also on Wednesday, four government sources in the Indian-administered Kashmir region told Reuters that three fighter jets crashed in the federal territory of Kashmir. A few hours ago, the Indian side said that it had attacked nine Pakistani "terrorist infrastructure" facilities across the border.
