Apple Inc on Tuesday unveiled a new mid-priced iPad Air equipped with an M3 chip and advanced artificial intelligence capabilities.
Reuters reports that the cheapest version of the new iPad Air with an 11-inch screen starts at $599, while a 13-inch model with a larger screen starts at least $799.
Customers can pre-order the new iPad Air starting Tuesday, while delivery and in-store sales will begin March 12.
Apple introduced a new iPad Air with the M2 chip last May.
According to data compiled by LSEG, iPad sales for the holiday quarter were $8.90 billion, higher than expectations of $7.32 billion. The company said more than half of its sales in three months came from customers using ipads for the first time.
