The Thai military plans to blockade the Gulf of Thailand to prevent fuel and military supplies from being transported to Cambodia.

According to Reuters, Nara Khunkothom, an assistant spokesperson for the Royal Thai Navy, said at a press conference on Sunday (December 14th) that Thai military commanders have been discussing plans to prevent fuel from being transported to Cambodia, including requiring the navy to remain vigilant against ships transporting strategic materials. And the sea areas near Cambodian ports have been designated as high-risk zones.

He added that the matter would be brought up for discussion at a security meeting to be held on Monday (the 15th).
